I’m Rob, a recently retired 50-something Canadian living in Ontario. One of the main reasons I’ve been able to retire relatively young is that I’ve been managing my own investments for many years now. One of my biggest regrets is not taking control of my finances earlier — I could have retired 5 or 10 years ago!
I’ve learned a lot over the years, and I’m hoping to share what I’ve learned with a wider community so more people can benefit. I’m also a certified cheapskate, meaning that I invest time seeking other ways of saving money that might be beneficial, too.
